Rachael Domenica Ray (born August 25, 1968) is an American television personality, celebrity chef and author. She hosts the syndicated talk and lifestyle program

Rachael Ray and three Food Network series, 30 Minute Meals, Rachael Ray's Tasty Travels and $40 a Day. Ray wrote cookbooks based on the 30 Minute Meals concept, and
launched a magazine, Every Day with Rachael Ray, in 2006.





The cooking segments eventually led to Ray's first book deal and a contract with Food Network. Vivacious and oftentimes goofy, Ray's shtick is simple recipes involving shortcuts that anyone can do at home. 30 Minute Meals was so popular that Food Network debuted three other programs starring the bubbly cook: $40 a Day, Inside Dish and Rachael Ray's
Tasty Travels.

Ray is married to lawyer John Cusimano. They have homes in Lake Luzerne, New York, and Manhattan's Greenwich Village.
